Hacking vs. Virus'

Hacking : Unauthorized Access is what it is.
                                The way to prevent it is with a firewall.

Virus: A virus is a software program that maliciously corrupts your data and systems.
Anti-Virus is a software program that uses lists of known viruses. This list is updated every time the program is updated. However it doesn't stop virus' getting onto your computer, it uses it's list to then find it then quarantine it so it cannot run.
